These days, I'm stepping into a new chapter, focusing more on my work as a songwriter, producer, and sound engineer. I'm currently finishing up a Music Production and Audio Engineering diploma at Nova Scotia Community College — a move that's helping me sharpen my skills and dive even deeper into the technical side of music. It's exciting to blend what I've learned over the years with new ideas and fresh sounds.
Outside the studio, I'm still very much involved in event production and promotion. I’ve created and produced events like the DKNation parties, The Sup'm Show Podcast — which was nominated for Vlog of the Year at the 2024 Elevation Awards — and the Show Me Music virtual concert for The Bahamas Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Culture. These projects mean a lot to me because they bring people together through music, culture, and community — the things I'm most passionate about.
With Baha Men, I've been part of some amazing moments, like contributing to the hit song "Bumpa," featured on ABC's The Bachelorette and Live with Kelly and Ryan. My solo work has also opened doors, with songs like "Save The World (Race For The Cure)," supported by Susan G. Komen, and "Conch Gone (Conchservation)," which won the Cine Fish People's Choice and Best New Media Award at the 2017 Gulf and Caribbean Fisheries Institute Awards.
I’ve been lucky to receive multiple Elevation Awards, a Bahamian Icon Award, and the Island FM Artist of the Year Award, but honestly, none of it would have been possible without the incredible support of the musicians, DJs, and fans who've believed in me and my music. I'm also so grateful to my sponsors, including BTC (Bahamas Telecommunication Company), The Island Game, Xtasy Band Bahamas, and Alpha Sound Productions.
As I move forward in this next phase of my career, my goal is simple: to keep creating music that connects with people. Whether I'm on stage or behind the soundboard, I want to push creative boundaries, honor my roots, and build experiences that bring people together. Music has always been at the heart of what I do, and I can't wait to share what's next.
