Who doesn’t love an energetic entertainer from a tropical paradise?

Well, Dyson Knight is a member of the international, Grammy award-winning band, “Baha Men”, and if you are wondering why their song, “Who Let The Dogs Out” can get any crowd charged, Dyson’s exhilarating stage presence has a lot to do with it!

Excitement unwrapped, are two words that summarize who Dyson is on and sometimes off stage. His sound can be described as having an upbeat Calypso, R&B vibe. His solo career has earned him a spot as a household name in his home of origin, The Bahamas, but to the fact that Dyson Knight co-wrote and performed “Night and Day”, the song on Baha Men’s “Ride With Me” album that made it to the 2014 World Cup compilation album along with artists Pit Bull, Shakira, and Ricky Martin, and "Bumpa" being featured on Live with Kelly and Ryan as well as ABC's The Bachelorette, and opening for Gladys Knight at 2019 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival as a solo artist, and spearheading the Susan G. Komen endorsed song, “Save The World (Race For The Cure)”, as well as “Conch Gone (Conchservation)”, which won the Cine Fish People's Choice and Best New Media Award at the 2017 Gulf and Caribbean Fisheries Institute Awards in Merida, Mexico, and the song "Who’s Next (I'm Next)" that was used as the official song for the 2017 Commonwealth Youth Games, Knight would humbly say, “I got lucky”.

Dyson Knight has won a healthy share of awards in The Bahamas, including multiple Elevation Awards for Artist and Song of the Year, The Bahamian Icon Award, and the Island FM Artist of the Year Award. He has also been nominated for the Hollywood Music in Media Award hosted in Los Angeles, California, just a few blocks away from the Hollywood Walk of Fame!

Although he has multiple awards to back his popularity, Dyson would quickly attribute his success to all the musicians, DJs, radio stations, journalists, and everyone who gave his music a minute of their time. He’s forever grateful to his sponsors, BTC (Bahamas Telecommunication Company), The Island Game, Xtasy Band Bahamas, Alpha Sound Productions, and all who patronize his DKNation event series.

Dyson Knight has a live vlog called “The Sup’m Show” that airs live every Sunday at 6:30 pm EST via YouTube and Facebook. Presently, he’s nominated for Vlog of the Year and Artist of the Year at the 2024 Elevation Awards.

Dyson is also promoting, “Feeling the Magic”, a song that Knight produced along with a team of young producers studying Music Production at Nova Scotia Community College in Nova Scotia, Canada. Equally as exciting, Dyson is scheduled to release another uplifting song with Baha Men in May of 2024.

“When it comes to island music most people think of Steel Pan or Bob Marley.   That is a lot... but there is so much more!” says DYSON.
